Pacing workout

Getting your pacing right can be challenging! Here is a very simple workout to help you understand your pacing a bit better. After a warm up, note your starting position. Run for X minutes - where X can be as short or as long as you like, in our image below we've used 2 minutes as an example. On the 2 minute mark turn around and try and get back to the start position in exactly 2 minutes. So total amount of running is 4 minutes. You can put as much or little as effort in as you like, it's about being consistent not about the pace you run. Try it slow and slightly faster than your 5k effort! You can repeat as many or little times as you like, depending on how much effort you put in. We sug
